Indian residents, NRIs, PIOs/OCIs, and eligible institutional investors can invest in the Global Equity Fund. The fund is available to investors who can make USD-denominated investments through the LRS (Liberalised Remittance Scheme) route or other permitted channels.
The Scheme is based in USD, which means it will accept investments (subscriptions) and make payouts (redemptions) in US Dollars. Although the fund is USD-denominated, it may invest in international markets where securities are priced in various other currencies like EUR, JPY, GBP, etc.

No, investors do not need a separate USD account or an account in GIFT City. Investors can remit funds in USD from their existing bank account through the Liberalised Remittance Scheme (LRS) to the fund's designated bank account.
